Persian New Year Celebration

Come celebrate Naw-R£z (the Persian New Year) with MENALSA! Naw-R£z, literally “new day,” is a holiday marking the arrival of spring and the first day of the new year for Iranians and other cultures, whose solar calendars begin with the vernal equinox. Will be ringing in the new year with music, dancing, Persian food, and other goodies. Plus, the traditional “haft-sin” will be on display.
