Harvard’s Barbara Kellerman will discuss how the deficits of what she calls the “Leadership Industry” contribute to the decline in trust, and in approval of America’s leadership class. Leaders including those in politics and business, education, and religion, even, though to a lesser degree, leaders in the military. Kellerman will explore the relationship between what and how leaders learn, and what these imply for the future of liberal democracy. The stakes, she argues, are high, very high.
