The week before the Supreme Court hears arguments in the highest profile Second Amendment case since Heller, Georgetown Law’s Supreme Court Institute will host a live virtual event exploring the issues at stake in New York Rifle v. Bruen. Georgetown Law Dean and constitutional historian William M. Treanor will moderate a panel including speakers who have filed amicus briefs for both sides of the case, argued before the Supreme Court, and have explored the right to bear arms as it intersects with public safety, individual liberties, Black Americans and the lessons of history.

Tuesday, October 26th starting at 2:00pm
