I began my legal career handling civil fraud cases at the Justice Dept, then handled criminal matters as an AUSA in D.C. for 11 years. I have spent the last 30 years in private practice, first at Kutak Rock, then in the DC litigation boutique Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck, & Untereiner LLP. I have litigated legal malpractice cases and other disputes involving legal ethics and lawyer’s conduct, served as the General Counsel at Robbins Russell, chaired hearing committees in the DC Bar Disciplinary system, and published articles about lawyer’s ethical duties.
