Dr. Andrés Constantin is the Acting Director of health law programs at the O’Neill Institute and an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University. He currently works on legal and policy issues relating to health. Constantin has expertise in a variety of areas ranging from sexual and reproductive health rights to the regulation of noncommunicable diseases risk factors. He is also a Senior New Voices Fellow with the Aspen Institute.
In 2022, Constantin completed his doctoral studies (S.J.D.) at Georgetown University Law Center, where he focused his research on the shift and expansion in the use of conscience-based claims in liberal democracies and their impact on human rights. Constantin holds an abogado (J.D. equivalent) degree from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and an LL.M. in global health law from Georgetown University, where he made the dean’s list with distinction. He also holds a certificate in international human rights law from Georgetown University.
