Professor Lenhart is a partner at the firm of Covington & Burling where he works in the areas of national and international litigation, arbitration, and insurance law. He is co-chair of Covington’s insurance practice. He also participates in pro bono work involving the death penalty, prison conditions, homelessness and criminal defense. He has taught the Introduction to Constitutional Law course at Georgetown since 1991. He also regularly speaks to civic groups and publishes articles on constitutional law topics.
