Professor Collins is currently a partner at Deloitte Tax, LLP in the National Office, and he was formerly a Partner in Arthur Andersen’s Office of Federal Tax Services. Professor Collins specializes in consultations on mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, restructurings, and consolidated returns. Professor Collins is also responsible for the firm’s consolidated return and merger and acquisition training. Formerly, Professor Collins was an Attorney-Advisor in the Office of Tax Legislative Counsel, Office of Tax Policy, U.S. Treasury Department, where he advised the Assistant Secretary of Tax Policy.
