Casen Ross is an attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, on the Civil Appellate Staff, where he represents the United States and federal agencies in the courts of appeals around the country. A subject-matter generalist at heart, he has argued over thirty cases on a diverse spectrum of issues—defending the constitutionality of federal statutes and the legality of federal programs.

Casen clerked for Judge Robert E. Bacharach on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit; and before law school, he worked as a strategy consultant at an international consultancy. He is also a professionally-trained cellist.
