Mr. Davidson is a partner at the national law firm of Venable LLP, where his practice focuses on a wide range of federal, state, local, and international tax matters. Mr. Davidson advises his clients on tax issues relating to entities, such as partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, and real estate investment trusts; transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions (both taxable and tax-free), joint ventures, like-kind exchanges, and installment sales; individual tax planning; and tax controversy matters. Mr. Davidson received his J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Maryland School of Law, and his LL.M, Taxation, from New York University. He is a member of the Maryland Bar. Mr. Davidson is also a regular author and speaker on various tax and business related topics.
