Professor Fallon specializes in appellate litigation as an Assistant Attorney General with the DC Office of the Solicitor General. Prior to joining OSG, he practiced as an appellate attorney in a law firm’s Supreme Court and appellate practice group. He also served as Special Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee during the confirmation proceedings of Justice Ketanji B. Jackson. Following law school, Professor Fallon served as a law clerk to Judge Denny Chin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Judge John Gleeson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar of the California Supreme Court. Professor Fallon holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law. Before law school, he taught English and social studies at a middle school in East Palo Alto, California.
