Prof. Walker obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania with a double concentration in International Relations and French Studies, his Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center, and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) in International Business Law the GULC in taxation. His passion for teaching foreign-trained attorneys in the Georgetown LL.M. program comes from having been in their shoes as a foreign-trained attorney studying in Paris and Geneva.
In private practice, George provides corporate transactional guidance in a wide range of matters, with a particular interest in those with a cross-border reach. His industry experience includes industrial & manufacturing, financial products, renewable energy, and digital currencies. George’s clients are both for-profit and non-profit entities, startups, mature businesses, and foreign nationals planning for unique transactions. A long-time resident of the DMV region, George is a partner at the Practus, LLP law firm, and an advisory board member of the American Industrial Acquisitions Corporation, with his offices in Washington, DC.
