James Lopez is the Office Chief for the Office of Finance in the Disclosure Review Program in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Lopez oversees and coordinates the review process of IPOs and other filings by companies in the finance and insurance industries. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Lopez was an associate with the law firm of Wilmer Hale. Mr. Lopez earned a B.A. from Ohio University and received his J.D. from The University of Cincinnati where he was an associate member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review.
