John Barlow is a tax partner in the Washington office of Baker McKenzie. He advises clients on cross-border transactions, including international restructurings, international financing structures, and international cash management. He also regularly works with corporate treasury departments on treasury focused transactions. In addition, he has an expertise in US consolidated return issues. Among other industries, his practice focuses on the hi-tech, software, aerospace and defense, and consumer product industries.

Professor Barlow has spoken and written on numerous U.S. international tax topics. He also authors the Lexis treaty Federal Income Taxation of Corporations Filing Consolidated Returns.
