Dr. White is a State Department officer with experience in human rights and transitional justice issues. He has served at the U.S. Embassy in The Hague and at the National Security Council. Dr. White holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University, with concentrations in Political Theory and International Relations. His teaching experience includes courses on the philosophy of punishment, political violence and atrocities, and global governance. Dr. White’s research is focused on the intersection of philosophy and international law; his dissertation was titled “Criminal ‘Process’: Rethinking International Criminal Law with Whitehead and Spinoza.”
