Professor Kim is Professor of Law at Yonsei Law School in Seoul, Korea. He has published widely on international dispute resolution, international trade and investment, corporate governance and corruption. He was the Founding Executive Director of the Hills Governance Center in Korea and previously held professorship or visiting positions at ESADE, Hongik University, National Law School of India University (Bangalore), National University of Singapore, Keio University and the University of Florida, and was in private practice in Washington, D.C. He presently acts as an Editorial Board Member of International Investment Law and Arbitration, Asian Journal of Comparative Law and Dispute Resolution International and serves on the Panel of Arbitrators of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes, Global Green Growth Institute, Korea-US FTA, and Korea-EU FTA. He received his academic degrees from Columbia (BA), Yonsei (MA) and Georgetown (JD).
