Julia Saladino graduated from American University Washington College of Law cum laude in 2011 and earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Communications from Stanford University. She joined the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) in January of 2015 as the WomensLaw Staff Attorney, where she contributes to writing and updating legal content on WomensLaw.org and responds to the legal Email Hotline. Before joining NNEDV, Professor Saladino represented low-income survivors in domestic violence court and family court in protection order, custody, divorce, and child support matters. Professor Saladino also clerked for an Associate Judge at D.C. Superior Court on both the civil and criminal domestic violence dockets. Additionally, Professor Saladino volunteers with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program to mentor attorneys litigating family law cases in D.C. Superior Court and enjoys several non-legal volunteer commitments and social activities.
