Professor Schuerman is Associate General Counsel, Litigation, at Interactive Brokers LLC. Her work focuses on litigation and arbitration in a variety of forums, including state and federal courts, the Financial Industry Regulatory Association (FINRA), the National Futures Association (NFA), the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and the American Arbitration Association. Prior to joining Interactive Brokers LLC in 2014, Professor Schuerman was a litigation associate at Schulte Roth and Zabel LLP in the firm’s New York, NY and Washington, DC offices. Her practice focused on securities litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and complex commercial litigation. She regularly defended entities and individuals in the financial services sector in government investigations, self-regulatory organization investigations, and private actions.
