Professor Neureiter is an Attorney for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, where her work focuses on bankruptcy, ERISA, and litigation. She has also been an Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in the Bankruptcy and Debt Restructuring Group and an Associate at Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP in the Bankruptcy Reorganization and Capital Recovery Group. Professor Neureiter also clerked for the Honorable Paul Mannes in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. She has represented the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation on numerous creditors’ committees in such bankruptcy cases as The McClatchy Company, American Airlines, and Chrysler. Publications include an article on PBGC’s Practice: Current Issues and Trends in the American Bar Association, Section of Taxation and an article on calculating workers’ compensation awards in the University of Baltimore Law Forum. She has also spoken at educational conferences, including the American Bar Association Tax Meeting and the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges.
