As the head of criminal healthcare fraud prosecutions at DOJ, he coordinated the investigation and prosecution of healthcare cases across the United States. He is a criminal defense attorney whose practice focuses on health care fraud and abuse. He is currently a partner in the White Collar Defense Practice at Arnold & Porter LLP. From 2000 to 2020, he handled federal jury trials of over 40 defendants including the six-month trial of one of the largest healthcare fraud conspiracies charged in the United States.
