Professor Cass is a Partner at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP where his practice focuses on white collar crime, internal investigations, compliance, and defense. Previously, he served as a federal prosecutor for over a decade as a Senior Trial Attorney with the Public Integrity Section of the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice and as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Financial Fraud and Corruption Section of the United States Attorney’s Office in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he investigated and prosecuted financial fraud, public corruption, and other offenses. Professor Cass also briefed and argued numerous appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Before joining the Department of Justice, Professor Cass served as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and worked in private practice in New York.
