Professor Wiss is a former Partner with the firm of Hogan Lovells. She retired from Hogan Lovells in January 2016 and started her own boutique law firm in the field of international transactions, Wiss & Partners LLP. Her law practice for the past thirty years has concentrated on international business transactions, especially involving international project and asset-based finance. She focuses on developing countries and countries in transition. Professor Wiss was the 2001 recipient of the Charles Fahy Distinguished Adjunct Professor Award from the Georgetown University Law Center.
