Professor Lattuga is a Senior Director and Head of Legal at Republic, a VC-backed financial services conglomerate, where he manages the Legal and Diligence units for their U.S. Retail division. At Republic, Professor Lattuga leads the strategy of an agile team of legal architects disrupting the world of private investing.

Before Republic, Professor Lattuga was an associate attorney at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP one of the world’s leading complex class action firms representing plaintiffs in securities fraud, antitrust, breach of fiduciary duty, consumer fraud, and privacy cases. From there, Professor Lattuga served as CEO of a FinTech startup aiming to eliminate investor fraud in the securities markets. Professor Lattuga’s passion lies at the intersection of the financial markets, technology, and law.

Scholastically, Professor Lattuga obtained his LL.M. in Securities & Financial Regulation from Georgetown University School of Law, his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law, and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.
