Max is a Managing Director in Andersen’s US National Tax practice, focusing on partnership tax. Max has experience with internal and third-party partnership transactions and restructurings in a domestic and foreign context, as well as with investment fund transactions, formations, and operations, advising both funds, sponsors, and investors. Max has published various articles on issues of partnership taxation in Tax Notes and the Journal of Passthrough Entities, among other publications, and has been a speaker at numerous presentations across the country. Prior to joining Andersen, Max worked in the national partnership group at EY and, before that, in the tax department of Ropes & Gray, LLP, in Boston. Max has a B.A. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
