Max is a Senior Manager in EY’s Partnership Transaction Planning & Economics Group in Ernst & Young LLP’s National Tax Department and is located in Washington, D.C.Max has experience with internal and third-party partnership transactions and restructurings in a domestic and foreign context, as well as with investment fund transactions, formations, and operations, advising both funds, sponsors, and investors.Max has published various articles on issues of partnership taxation in Tax Notes and the Journal of Passthrough Entities, among other publications, and has been a speaker at numerous presentations across the country. Prior to joiningErnst & Young, Max worked in the tax department of Ropes & Gray, LLP, in Boston.Max has a B.A. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
