Michael Adame leads the Election Protection Litigation Hub at Public Rights Project (“PRP”), a national legal advocacy organization that works with state, local, and tribal government offices to protect and advance civil and economic rights. In his work with PRP, Michael works with local election officials across the country to defend their ability to administer elections fairly and free from undue interference and to advance the voting rights of their constituents. Additionally, he works with PRP’s wider Local Democracy team to represent local jurisdictions and local elected officials, including district attorneys, from abusive state preemption. Prior to joining PRP, Michael worked on the 2020 campaign to elect President Joe Biden.
