Professor Nettleford is an Associate County specializing in Economic Development, Real Estate and Finance. In that role he counsels the executive branch on projects including sports stadium development, entertainment venue construction, public amenity construction, school construction, public private partnerships and various other real estate related matters. Mr. Nettleford also advises on taxation matters including tax sales, tax policy and appeals, payments in lieu of taxes transactions and tax increment financing transactions. Prior to joining Prince Georges County, Mr. Nettleford served as the primary employee benefits compliance officer for a large U.S. sports league. Earlier in his career, Mr. Nettleford created a real estate organization that was responsible for over 150 million dollars in annual transaction volume. Mr. Nettleford has also instructed and lectured on contracts, business law and taxation.
