Robin Peguero spent seven years as a trial lawyer — trying 30 cases to jury verdict — most recently as a homicide prosecutor in Miami. An Afro-Latino and the son of immigrants, he graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School. He has written for the Miami Herald, the Harvard Crimson, and the Harvard Law Review, and he served as a press spokesman for U.S. Congressman Charlie Rangel and a speechwriter for U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar before becoming a lawyer. His debut novel, a legal thriller titled ‘With Prejudice,’ was published by Grand Central Publishing of Hachette Books in May of 2022. He is currently an investigative counsel on the U.S. House Select Committee Investigating the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol.
