Samuel Weiss is the founder and executive director of Rights Behind Bars, which litigates conditions of confinement claims against prisons, jails, and immigration detention centers. Sam has won several dozen cases on behalf of incarcerated plaintiffs in the federal appellate courts, including in the United States Supreme Court. He enjoys reading fiction and spending time with his wife and son.
