Stephanie Tsacoumis founded and is the managing partner of Pebble Beach Associates, LLC, which provides specialized legal and consulting services to middle market, early stage, emerging and smaller public companies. She previously served as co-partner-in-charge of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher’s D.C. office, handling a variety of sophisticated securities, corporate, transactional, regulatory, litigation advisory matters. Following her law firm tenure, as General Counsel of Georgetown University, she managed the legal and compliance functions for the university, including its medical center and international operations. Additionally, as General Counsel of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Stephanie led, directed and supervised all agency rulemaking, litigation and enforcement, and related investigations and activities. She also served as chief ethics officer and managed the Office of the Secretary and FOIA Office.
Named the “Outstanding Chief Legal Officer” the “Top Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer in D.C.” and a top businesswoman in D.C., Stephanie also has been consistently named a “Leading Corporate Lawyer” by Chambers and Partners, Inc. and as among “The Best Lawyers in America.” The American Bar Association named her “Non-Profit Lawyer of the Year,” and under her leadership, the Georgetown Office of General Counsel was a nationwide finalist in Corporate Counsel’s “Best Legal Department.”
Stephanie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the College of William and Mary and received her law degree from the University of Virginia.
