Friday: Sports & Entertainment Law Symposium at Georgetown Law

On Friday, February 9, 2018, the Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance, Law Division (GEMALaw) will host its 11th Annual Sports & Entertainment Law Symposium. The day-long event will feature discussions on cutting edge legal issues confronting the sports, entertainment, and technology industries, followed by a networking reception. The symposium will feature attorneys from National Geographic, Lincoln Center, Fox Sports, and more.
The symposium will feature three panels:
“Trending Topics in Non-Traditional Mediums (Live Events, Theater & Reality TV)”
“How New Media and Evolving Audience Demands Affect Sports Law”
“The New Age of Copyright & Clearances.”
