Welcome to the Taxation Interview Program Home Page

Hosted annually by Georgetown University Law Center (Georgetown Law) in Washington, D.C., the Taxation Interview Program (TIP) brings together the nation's most talented taxation students to interview with preeminent tax practitioners and employers. The 2009 program will once again feature taxation LL.M. students from both Georgetown Law and New York University School of Law (NYU), as well as students obtaining the Certificate in either Employee Benefits or Estate Planning (without receiving the Tax LL.M. degree) from Georgetown Law. This year's TIP will take place on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Since 2001, TIP has been the nation's flagship program for the recruitment of tax students, and it continues to grow. In 2007, the consortium program brought together over 175 taxation LL.M. candidates from the nation's leading taxation LL.M. programs. The 2008 Program featured over 80 employer schedules from around the country, including law firms large and small, government agencies, and all four "Big 4" accounting firms.

TIP Resources Online

Employers may register online to attend and interview at the Program, or to simply collect resumes from participating students by following the link from the Employer menu on the left.  Interested employers may also view an electronic copy of the TIP 2008 Marketing Brochure, or peruse the Employer FAQ. Once registered, employers can similarly login to submit an interview schedule request, or modify their existing interview schedules.

Students can follow the links in the Student Menu to read up on their own FAQs, located on the left hand side of this page, or log in to their accounts to research employers, upload resumes, and bid for interviews.
