WASHINGTON – Georgetown Law’s Supreme Court Institute will host its annual press briefing, “Anticipating the Supreme Court’s October Term 2018: What to Expect,” on Monday, Sept. 17.

A panel of Supreme Court experts will discuss the pending nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh and upcoming cases on double jeopardy; sex offender registration; mental illness and capital punishment; employment discrimination and sexual orientation; excessive fines; and taxes and state sovereignty.
