Lawrence J. Center is the Assistant Dean of Academic Conferences and Continuing Legal Education. He has led the Academic Conferences and Continuing Legal Education Department at Georgetown Law since 1985. While at Georgetown, Larry has also served as the President of the Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) and as Chair of the Section of Continuing Legal Education for the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). He has consulted on leadership, management and continuing legal education for government agencies, associations, law firms, and law schools across the country. Larry further demonstrates his passion for leadership by teaching "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," twice annually as part of the Georgetown University Management Certificate Program. Larry is a 1974 graduate of the Law Center and is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland Bars. He earned his B.A. from Syracuse University (Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa).
