Reminder Regarding Incoming Student Billing
If your aid is showing as “accepted” (scholarships, grants and loans) on GU Experience and that aid covers your expected tuition bill, you DO NOT need to make a payment by the July 23 tuition payment deadline. Those funds will apply to your account at the start of the semester.

Financial Aid News
With the passage of the Reconciliation Bill, there are several changes that will impact students and their borrowing options. HOWEVER, these changes are prospective and will affect students who have NOT borrowed federal loans for their JD or LLM program before June 30, 2026. In addition, the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program remains intact, so the opportunity to earn forgiveness through service continues.
ALL CURRENT STUDENTS AND ALL STUDENTS ARRIVING IN THE FALL will have access to the current federal loan programs for the duration of their current program (up to three additional years). Georgetown Law is following these developments closely, but at this moment there is nothing for our current and incoming students to do. Just complete your applications as normal and we expect funds to arrive on-time.
Please watch your email for an announcement regarding an informational town hall session later in July.
