Dani Rodrik: A New World, a New Development Strategy?
On June 20, 2017, CAROLA co-sponsored the conference “A New World, a New Development Strategy?” with Dani Rodrik, Professor of International Political Economy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University as keynote speaker. The event was hosted by the The Chamber of Deputies of Mexico, and included the participation of Mexican Congressman Vidal Llerenas, Alberto Mayorga, Director of the Center for the Study of Public Finances of the Chamber of Deputies, and CAROLA’s Faculty Director, Professor Alvaro Santos. The conference was themed on rethinking the economic course for the development of Mexico, particularly in the context of the renegotiation of NAFTA.
