This notice discloses the privacy practices for the Georgetown Law’s Office of Journal Administration. It is only applicable to the information collected by our office. It serves to inform you of the following:

4. The steps to correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Our office is the sole proprietor of the information collected from our subscription services. We only have access to information that you voluntarily provide via placing a subscription order, or direct communication from you. We will not sell or share your information with anyone outside of Georgetown University or its vendors specific to our journal production or fulfillment services.
We will use the information provided to administer your subscription account and to communicate to you regarding the requested services.
We may communicate with you via mail, email, telephone, or fax in the future to inform you about special offers, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy unless specified otherwise.
Your Information Access and Control
At any time you may change your contact preferences. You may do so at any time by reaching out to our office via mail or email, or by telephoning customer service using the number on our website.
Security
All precautions are taken to protect your personally identifiable information in whatever delivery method you choose to communicate your data, whether online or offline.
When placing an order online with our website, the information in encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure method. You can always verify this information by looking at the GeoTrust icon on our order page, as well as the “https” that is at the beginning of our web address.
For offline purchases, only employees who need the information to perform the requested subscription purchase will have access to your personal data. Once payment is confirmed, your credit card data is removed and securely destroyed. The contact information you provide will be used to process your order, maintain your subscription account, and communicate with you about products and services.
On occasion we may reach out to you to request information via survey. Participation in our survey is voluntary, and you may always chose whether or not to participate. Information requested may include demographic information or information about our services. The information collected will be used for the purpose of improving our products and services.
