"Constitutional Sheriffs" and Elections

ICAP and States United Democracy Center have created a fact sheet that explains the so-called "constitutional sheriffs" movement, their efforts to intervene in election administration, and the legitimate scope of authority possessed by sheriffs. ICAP has also created fact sheets that delve deeper into individual states' laws regarding the authority of sheriffs and the administration of election laws.
