We look forward to celebrating you at the Georgetown Law Celebration Days on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21. Included below is important information about the section and program-specific ceremonies.

All Celebration Days ceremonies will take place at the Law Center Campus on the Eleanor Holmes Norton Green. Following each section or program ceremony, graduates and guests will be invited to a party on the Paul R. Dean Library Green, where there will be food, music, giveaways, and other exciting ways to celebrate.

Arrival, Robing, and Line-Up
Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and report to the Hotung Atrium for robing and line-up.

GradPass from MarchingOrder
You will receive an email from MarchingOrder a few days before your Celebration Days ceremony via lawcommencement@georgetown.edu with instructions on how to log into your MarchingOrder account to access your GradPass. Your GradPass is required to have your name read aloud as you cross a stage for individual recognition. There will be a photographer present to capture this special moment, and you will be sent a link to your photo several days after.

Diplomas
We will not present diplomas at the Celebration Days events or at Commencement. Diplomas will be shipped directly to graduates after degrees have been conferred. The Registrar’s Office sent Spring 2022 graduates information and diploma delivery instructions in April. Please contact lawreg@georgetown.edu if you have questions.

Guests
While guests to the Law Campus Celebration Days are unlimited, we can only guarantee that four guests per graduate will be able to have a seat in the tent. We will have standing room outside the tent as well as various livestreaming locations across the Law Center campus for any additional guests. Everyone is welcome to attend the closing reception on the Paul R. Dean Library Green.

COVID-19 Policy
To protect the health and safety of the Georgetown University community and our guests, all attendees at Commencement events are expected to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccination or have a medical or religious exemption, though guests will not need to show proof of vaccination or exemption during Commencement Weekend. If you are unvaccinated, please take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to attending any indoor Commencement event and stay home if you receive a positive test result.

Parking
There is no parking on the Law Center campus for the Celebration Days events. If you are using a rideshare, please use 600 New Jersey Ave., N.W. and enter campus at the Eleanor Holmes Norton Green. There are also a number of parking garages within a few blocks of campus.
