Accounting firms typically employ certified public accountants and lawyers to work in the areas of tax, audit, and sometimes management consulting.  The “Big Four,” are the largest companies in the accounting industry, and they are Deloitte, Ernst and Young (EY), KPMG, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

The Big Four, along with other large and small accounting firms, will frequently target tax-focused LL.M. students to work in areas such as international tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax, and estate planning.
