Wednesday, Jan. 3 and Thursday, Jan. 4

  • Fall 2017 Exam deferral dates

Friday, Jan. 5

  • Deadline to submit Main Campus course request
    *See Student Handbook for credit policies and enrollment procedures - J.D. Program (pp. 22-23); Graduate Program (pp. 61-62)

Monday, Jan. 8

  • Week One elective classes begin for first-year J.D. students  (Monday - Thursday)
  • Week One elective mini courses begin for upperclass students (Monday - Friday)
    NOTE: If students elect to take a Week one class, mandatory attendance is required at all class sessions.  Enrolled students must attend the first class in order to remain enrolled.  If a course has open seats, waitlisted students must attend the first class in order to be admitted off the waitlist.
    NOTE: Some clinics may require their students to begin clinic activities this week

Thursday, Jan. 11

  • Waitlist Lottery runs at 3:00 pm
    *Students have until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 16, to claim winning waitlist seat

Monday, Jan. 15

  • Martin Luther King Holiday: No classes meet

Tuesday, Jan. 16

  • Spring 2018 regular, semester-long classes begin for all students

Tuesday, Jan. 16 - Friday, Jan. 19

  • Waitlist Lottery runs each day at 3:00 pm
    *Students have until 3:00 pm on the following day to claim winning waitlist seat

Tuesday, Jan. 16 - Tuesday, Jan. 23

  • Add/Drop and Waitlist activity for Spring 2018 courses

Tuesday, Jan. 16 - Friday, Feb. 16

  • Upperclass JD students may elect to take a Spring 2018 course Pass/Fail and select their target grade for the course

Friday, Jan. 19

Monday, Jan. 22

  • Last Waitlist Lottery runs at 3:00 pm
    *Students have until 3:00pm on Tuesday, January 23, to claim winning waitlist seat 

Tuesday, Jan. 23

  • Spring Add/Drop period ends at 3:00 pm - all Spring 2018 schedules must be finalized
  • Last Chance Lottery for Spring courses (details sent by email during Add/Drop)
