Updated Information: Equal Justice Works Public Interest Career Fair Registration Info - Must read before registering!

Announcing the 2012 Equal Justice Works Career Fair and Conference
Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27
Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, Arlington, VA

The EJW Career Fair and Conference is the largest annual gathering of public interest and government employers in the nation. There are opportunities for scheduled interviews and informal information exchange with employers about a broad range of public sector entry-level and summer opportunities.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR GEORGETOWN STUDENTS:
All students registering for the Career Fair and Conference will be charged $25 at the time of registration. OPICS will reimburse all upper-level Georgetown JD students that attend the Fair – details on the process will be announced. The registration fee is also fully refundable if the student cancels by contacting careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16.

OHIO LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION will consider sponsoring up to seven (7) Equal Justice Works Fellows for the class of 2013 - 2014, one with each of its seven grantees in Ohio. (For a list of grantees, go to www.olaf.org)  Please consider developing a project with an Ohio host site and submitting your project to Equal Justice Works at www.equaljusticeworks.org.   The EJW fellowship deadline is September 18, 2012, so interested candidates should apply to OH host sites ASAP.

Announcing the 2013 California Attorney General’s Honors Program

2013 California Attorney General’s Honors Program

The Honors Program is an entry-level hiring program for third-year law students, students in the final year of other graduate law programs, judicial clerks, those participating in other government or public-interest fellowships and newly admitted attorneys in their first year of practice.
The two-year, paid Honors Program will begin accepting applications for the September 2013 class on August 15, 2012. The application deadline is October 3, 2012.
