Alisha Avril is a Program Attorney for the Department of Academic Conferences and Continuing Legal Education. She is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law. She is also a graduate of Emory University with a degree in Political Science. In her role as Program Attorney, Alisha manages the event planning and logistical components of departmental conferences, including: Bankruptcy: Views from the Bench, the Advanced eDiscovery Institute, the Corporate Counsel Institute, Issues in Nonprofit Governance, Representing and Managing Tax-Exempt Organizations, and the Cybersecurity Law Institute. Prior to law school, Alisha was a Compliance Facilitator for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and member of Teach for America in Charlotte, North Carolina.
