Alisha Avril is a Program Manager for the Department of Academic Conferences and Continuing Legal Education. She is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law. She is also a graduate of Emory University with a degree in Political Science. In her role as Program Manager, Alisha manages the event planning and logistical components of departmental conferences, including: Bankruptcy: Views from the Bench, the Advanced eDiscovery Institute, the Corporate Counsel Institute, Nonprofit Governance, Representing and Managing Tax-Exempt Organizations, Multinational Corporations: Conflicting Regulation Enforcement, and the eDiscovery Training Academy. Previously, Alisha was a Compliance Facilitator for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and member of Teach for America in Charlotte, North Carolina.
