Our Fall 2025 application is open. Although our priority deadline has passed, we are still accepting applications for all LL.M. programs. We encourage you to submit an application as soon as possible if you are interested in beginning your LL.M. this fall.

Due to the large number of applications we receive and our rolling admissions system, it is to your advantage to complete your application as early as possible in the application cycle. Please note that applications will not be reviewed until all required documentation has been received.

If you are applying for a Certificate alongside a full LL.M. degree program, please refer to the LL.M. dates and deadlines for the Fall 2024 admission cycle.

July 1, 2025

Final Application Deadline for all applicants.

Please note that although our application will remain open, you are strongly advised to apply earlier in order to allow the Admissions Committee enough time to review your file for Fall 2025 entry.

What is Early Action?

Early Action applications are reviewed first in our rolling admissions process and receive early notification.

If you are admitted to an LL.M. program under Early Action, this is not binding. You will have the same deadline as Regular Action admitted students to decide whether or not you will attend Georgetown.

What is Priority?

Applicants who complete their applications by the priority deadline will receive a decision within 6-10 weeks and before April 1st, allowing plenty of time to make plans and arrangements for Fall enrollment.

Applicants also must apply by the priority deadline to guarantee consideration for our general merit based scholarships. Applicants applying after the priority deadline will still be considered for scholarships, but we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Applicants who apply after the priority deadline will also be charged an increased application fee of $100.
