1E Spring Day Course Option

As part of the Law Center's commitment to increasing flexibility in the evening program, 1E students now have the option to add a day course to their Spring semester course load, up to a maximum of 13 total credit hours.

Students may choose between three course options--Property, Criminal Justice, or a course meeting the "first-year elective"--in addition to the 1E required courses Constitutional Law I, Contracts, and Legal Practice. Because the required course load is 9 credits, students may not take both a 1-credit Week One course and a 4-credit Property or Criminal Justice course. Students may take both a Week One course and a 3-credit "first-year elective" option.

We have listed the course options below. For individual course descriptions, faculty profiles, or syllabi, click on the links below.

This option will not be for everyone. Not only does it entail a significant additional workload, but you'll need to have the scheduling flexibility to be able to take a course during the workweek. To assist you in your decision-making, we will hold an info session on Tuesday, October 24, at 8:00pm in McDonough 206.

To register, you must submit a form ranking your preferences. You will have an opportunity to drop your Week One course if you get into Property or Criminal Justice and would prefer to take that course.
