Barred Business v. Kemp
Along with the ACLU of Georgia, ICAP represents plaintiffs in a constitutional challenge to a Georgia law that imposes severe restrictions on the payment of charitable cash bail. Plaintiffs pay cash bail for their neighbors as an expression of their opposition to unjust pretrial detention and, in the case of the two individual plaintiffs, to practice their religious faith.

- 6/22/24 – Filed a brief in support of motion for a TRO and expedited preliminary injunction
- 6/21/24 – Filed a complaint in federal court seeking declaratory and injunctive relief
