Bledsoe v. The Department of the Army
ICAP represents U.S. Army Officer Joy Bledsoe, who challenges the denial of her request to be a conscientious objector assigned to a non-combatant role based on her religious beliefs. Ms. Bledsoe is asking the Court to protect her religious freedoms and procedural rights under federal law by vacating the denial, ordering the granting of the conscientious objector status, and preventing future assignment to combatant duties.
