Commencement Week Events
The Law Center is planning a series of events to recognize our graduates and bring our community together on the Law Center campus in the days leading up to Sunday’s Commencement ceremony on the Hilltop.
Section and Program Sendoffs
Tuesday, May 12, through Thursday, May 14, graduates will be invited to gather with their first-year sectionmates or program classmates for a celebration on the Law Center campus. Each of the events will feature remarks from a faculty and student speaker for each cohort. While these are student-only events, the remarks will be livestreamed for friends and family.

- 2:00 p.m. – Group C (Executive Taxation LL.M., Executive Securities & Financial Regulation LL.M., Taxation LL.M., Master of Legal Studies in Taxation M.S.L.)

Friends and Family Receptions
Friday, May 15, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
- The Law Center will host a reception for friends and families of LL.M.s and other graduates. Celebrate your achievements with a cocktail reception spanning Georgetown Law’s campus. Commemorate your time at the Law Center with photo opportunities and share memories with friends, family, and faculty members. Festive cocktail attire encouraged. Each graduate is welcome to invite up to three guests.
Saturday, May 16, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
