To interview virtually at TIP 2021 or collect resumes via TIP, Employers must complete the following steps:

  1. Register through TIP Symplicity, our online registration and interview scheduling system. For detailed instructions on creating an account and scheduling interviews or a resume collect, please see our TIP-Symplicity Instructions for Employers. 
  2. Complete payment of TIP interview schedule fees.

Employer registration opens Monday, November 30, 2020 (12:00 p.m. EST) 
Deadline for employer registration Thursday, January 14, 2021 (12:00 p.m. EST)

Employers conducting interviews on March 5, 2021 through TIP or participating under the resume collection option for TIP may begin viewing student resumes Thursday, February 4, 2021 (12:00 p.m. EST)

Register via TIP Symplicity 

Employers must register online to interview virtually at TIP or to simply collect resumes from participating students. The TIP online registration and interview scheduling system (TIP Symplicity), will open for employer registration on Monday, November 30, 2020. This automated online system allows employers to specify precise job descriptions and hiring criteria, manage their schedule formats with ease, and register for interviews for multiple offices.  

If you do not already have an e-mail account registered in TIP Symplicity, simply go to the “Create Account” tab at the top or the right of the login page and complete the information requested. Once you are logged in to TIP Symplicity, follow the Quick Link to “Submit Schedule Request” (for interview schedules and resume collections) and complete the online form. If you are asking students to submit cover letters, please provide the name and mailing address to whom cover letters should be addressed. 100% Employer Pre-Screened 

TIP is a 100% employer pre-screened program. Employers submit a job description and request resumes and other application materials (e.g., cover letter, J.D. and LL.M. transcripts) through the online system. These requirements are communicated directly to students, who are thus aware of the employer’s hiring criteria.  

Interview Schedule Fees 

Upon registering for a resume collection or virtual interview schedule in TIP Symplicity, employers will receive an invoice for participation in the Taxation Interview Program along with payment options. Payment can be completed via PayPal or wire transfer by January 22, 2021. If you have any questions regarding payment, please email

  • For government agencies and non-profit organizations (initial virtual interview schedule): $300
