WELCOME TO TIP 2025!

Employer Registration is now open!

Join us for the 24th Annual Taxation Interview Program (TIP)
on February 28, 2025!
TIP is the nation’s premier job fair for graduate tax students.

Each year, Georgetown University Law Center partners with New York University School of Law to sponsor the Taxation Interview Program, a job fair which enables private and public sector employers to interview some of the most promising Tax LL.M. students from the top graduate tax programs in the country on one day.

Since 2001, TIP has been the nation’s flagship program for the recruitment of tax students. The program continually attracts the top law firms, government agencies and major accounting firms from around the country. See the full list of past participating TIP employers.

TIP 2025 will be held virtually on Friday, February 28, 2025. Interviews during the Taxation Interview Program will be hosted on the FloRecruit virtual interview platform or the Employer’s virtual interview platform.

Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination in the Employment Process

Georgetown Law’s non-discrimination policy provides equal opportunity and access in its programs, activities, and employment practices; prohibits unlawful discrimination and harassment in all aspects of employment because of age, citizenship, color, disability, ethnicity, family responsibilities, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, matriculation, national origin, personal appearance, political affiliation, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran’s status or any other protected category; and promotes the realization of equality of opportunity in employment throughout the Law Center in accordance with the policy expressed in the University-wide Affirmative Action Plan.

By participating in a Georgetown Law recruiting program or posting a position with Georgetown Law, your organization certifies that it currently complies and will comply with our non-discrimination policy, all applicable nondiscrimination laws, and all applicable employment laws including wage, hour, and salary transparency laws and related regulations.

Georgetown University believes that the best way to guard against disparate treatment, ensure sound selection procedures and avoid unlawful discrimination is to be fair, objective and consistent in the hiring process. Inquiries concerning a candidate’s personal characteristics, which are not related to ability, performance, or qualifications as determined by University policy or by District of Columbia or Federal law, must be excluded from the employment process. This includes not only direct questions, but also an interviewer’s attempt to draw conclusions on prohibited matters from cover letters, CVs or resumes and letters of recommendation.

Georgetown University’s office of Institutional Diversity, Equity & Affirmative Action (IDEAA) has prepared a set of examples of prohibited and acceptable questions. All employers and interviewers should review that Guide to enable them to conduct interviews and reference inquiries in a non-discriminatory manner. If employers decide to ask acceptable questions about such matters, they should generally be asked of all candidates. That includes questions about organizational affiliations, political beliefs, or political activities.

The Interview Questions and Inquiry Guide can be accessed here.

Inquiries regarding Georgetown University’s non-discrimination policy may be addressed to Institutional Diversity, Equity & Affirmative Action (IDEAA).
