Georgetown Law Private Sector Fellowships
Georgetown Law has developed two innovative programs to help our graduates interested in the private sector gain experience in corporate law and in privacy law. These are full-time positions, typically lasting for one year, designed to contribute to the professional development and career advancement of the fellows.
The Privacy & Technology Fellowship Program gives Georgetown Law graduates opportunities to gain privacy & technology law experience with public and private sector organizations. Click the link above for more information.
Through the Corporate Fellowship Program, Georgetown Law partners with corporations and other entities to sponsor legal fellowships for recent graduates. Fellows are placed in our partners' legal departments for one-year terms during which they gain valuable training and substantive experience in corporate legal practice. The exact scope and nature of a fellow's work is determined by each corporate partner, but subject areas of focus have included corporate, labor and employment, litigation and compliance. The application process for these fellowships is competitive and fellows are selected by the partner corporation. Our partner corporations pay the fellows' salaries.
