About Our Students
At Georgetown University Law Center, we strive to develop outstanding lawyers who practice law at the highest level and who are also dedicated, contributing members of their communities. Our faculty, headed by Dean William Treanor, educates an exceptionally talented and diverse student body in a learning environment that combines academic excellence with thorough practical training in the practice of law.
With its location in the heart of the nation's capital, the Law Center benefits from having access to full-time and adjunct professors with an extraordinary range of professional and scholarly accomplishment in every area of legal practice. Many faculty members have achieved national or international prominence and remain actively involved in their specialized field.
Through innovative programming and counseling methods, the Office of Career Services and the Office of Public Interest and Community Service strive to empower students with information and connect them with employers around the world. We are proud to host one of the largest, most prestigious on-campus recruiting programs in the country with our Early Interview Week, in addition to providing several more opportunities for employers to come to campus year round.
